Guzman y Gomez (GYG) is looking for motivated Cooks, Line Cooks, and Kitchen Crew Members to join our fast-paced Mexican restaurant teams across Sydney.

If you have experience in a commercial kitchen, fast food restaurant, café, QSR, or hospitality venue, or even if you are starting out in hospitality, we want to hear from you.

About the Role – Cook / Kitchen Crew

As a Cook at GYG, you will be responsible for:

Cooking and preparing fresh Mexican food to company standards

Operating grill, fryer and commercial kitchen equipment

Food preparation and ingredient portioning

Maintaining food safety, hygiene and OH&S; standards

Working efficiently during high-volume service periods

Keeping a clean, organised workstation

Supporting team members to deliver fast,



high-quality service

This is a hands-on role in a high-energy kitchen environment.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Cook, Kitchen Hand, Line Cook or Rapid Food Cook helpful but if you have no experience we will consider you too as full training is provided.

Robust understanding of food safety and OH&S; procedures

Ability to work under pressure and multitask

Team player with good communication skills

Intermediate English (if non-native speaker)

Formal culinary qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
