Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Casual School Cleaner for a casual contract in Waroona.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high hygiene standards within a local school workplace, ensuring classrooms and facilities are clean and secure for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, and staff areas (vacuuming, mopping, dusting).
Thorough sanitisation of high-touch surfaces and amenities.
Waste management and restocking of essential supplies.
Adhering to safety protocols and reporting any maintenance needs.
Using eco-friendly, plant-based cleaning products (training provided).

Requirements
Essential:



Current WA Working with Children Check (WWC).
Essential: Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (Education Department cleared).
Robust reliability and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
Previous commercial or school cleaning experience (highly regarded).
Local resident of Waroona or surrounding areas (e.g., Hamel, Coolup).

Shift Details
Total Hours: 8 hours per week.
Times: Typically late afternoon/evening shifts (e.g., 2:00 PM onwards, Monday to Friday).
Contract: Casual.
