Work Overview

The COHO Group are looking for experienced Solids Control Specialists (SCS) to work a rotational even time on / off contract on approved projects onshore Australia. Multiple positions available.

Main tasks can be described as follows:

· Maintain protected, productive, and reliable drilling fluid and solids control properties for Customers.

· Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, implement standard work, and manage risk during service delivery.

· Execute the client drilling fluids program accurately, on time and on budget.

· Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.

· Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.

· Demonstrate advanced knowledge of company products and services, rig operations, and fluids, separation, and waste management technologies and related processes.





· Demonstrate advanced ability to adequately prepare and track inventory of palletized and bulk products and equipment spares at the rig site based on the drilling program and anticipated conditions.

· Demonstrates advanced ability to optimize solids control equipment including testing, separation, and waste management.

· Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance.

· Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.

· Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.

· Wear PPE, observe HSE policies and maintain the required safety training.

Key Requirements

· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar roles.

· Bachelor's Degree in Oil and Gas Engineering or similar.

· Ability to work in rotations, in remote areas.

· Solid mechanical mindset and troubleshooting abilities.

· Excellent communication, analytical and computing skills for evaluating drilling fluid properties and performance.

Pay: $127,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
