We are seeking an experienced Cook or Chef (x 2) to join our café located within Pacific Fair Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast. This is a hands-on cooking role suited to a skilled Cook or Chef who enjoys a busy workplace and contributing to a strong kitchen culture.

This role is casual, however, could lead to permanent for the right candidate.
We have 2 positions available - Senior Cook and Kitchen Shift Leader.

You will work within established menus, systems and procedures.
No night shifts and no split shifts

Key Responsibilities
Lead the shift, ensuring speed, consistency and presentation standards
Prepare, marinate and cook from raw using grill, oven and fryer
Prepare and portion house-made sauces, dips etc
Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance
Conduct quality control checks during service
Support kitchen team members
Assist with stocktakes, portion control and wastage reduction
Report maintenance and safety issues





About You
Proven experience as a Chef or Senior Cook in a high-volume café or kitchen
Willing to follow Standard Recipe Cards
Strong hands-on experience cooking fresh ingredients
Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance
Reliable, calm under pressure and detail-focused
Solid communication skills and a positive team attitude

You must have permanent Australian working rights or a visa with working rights through to Feb 2027 for this position.

Pay: $36.00 – $56.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 38.0 per week
