We are looking for someone who is confident working with BBQ and grill cooking, can maintain consistent food quality during busy service and takes pride in clean, organised kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook BBQ and grilled food to a consistently high standard
Operate BBQs, grills and other commercial kitchen equipment safely
Prepare meats, vegetables and other ingredients for service
Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards
Monitor cooking times and food quality
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic workstation
Follow food safety and hygiene requirements
Assist with general kitchen preparation when required
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team
Monitor ingredient levels and notify management of stock requirements
Minimise food waste and maintain good kitchen practices

About You
Previous experience as a BBQ Chef, Grill Chef, Chef or Cook is preferred
Strong experience with BBQ and grill cooking




Positive understanding of meat preparation and cooking
Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
Robust attention to food quality and presentation
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene
Reliable, punctual and professional
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Hospitality or commercial kitchen experience
