The Floreat Market is looking for an experienced, passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a busy, community focused, family owned and operated destination where quality and fresh go hand in hand.

The Role
Casual position with full time hours (38+ hours per week)
Shift hours: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Weekend and public holiday work required
Happy to negotiate full time contract after 3 months

About You
At least 5 years cooking experience in kitchens or cafés
A positive attitude and energy you must bring to work every day
Robust teamwork and communication skills
Creative and idea driven, but equally comfortable following direction
Clean, efficient, and consistent — with a sharp eye for food quality, taste, and presentation
Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene,



and workplace safety standards
A genuine passion for food and pride in being part of something special

What You'll Do
Work closely with the Deli Manager to help grow a profitable and exciting food offering
Prepare catering orders to a high standard and assisting in growing that section
Jump in to help with customer service when needed
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation across every service
