Thirsty Camel Superstores is excited to be hiring a new liquor store manager for our upcoming store opening in Australind in late October. With a network of 10 stores within this superstore group, your success in this role is ensured with comprehensive training and support from a group operations team.

With an expanding portfolio of operations, we are seeking a capable and passionate Retail Superstar to oversee and co-ordinate the opening of the newest store with the future potential to oversee multiple sites in the region.

Our drive through stores offer a wide range of local and international products across Wine, Beer, Premix & Spirits with a commitment to value and convenience. You will be the face of the store, responsible for the daily operations and nurturing a robust retail team that is focused on consistently delivering an exceptional customer service experience. Approved Managers card, RSA and management experience required. Training will be on-site at our Superstore in Lakelands.

We offer a great working structure of rosters and over-time for any additional hours worked above your 40 contracted hours per week.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated:
A self-starting drive to run your own store and team, making it your own and defining your success.
An eye for presentation, ensuring the store is clean, stocked and visually appealing for customers.
Excellent customer service skills and valuable communication skills
Great knowledge across a wide range of products.
Minimum 1+ years previous experience managing a Retail Off Premise
A full understanding of stock control, stock forecasting and ordering
Cash handling, EFTPOS and cash operating expertise
Rostering capabilities
The positive leadership style that inspires and mentors your team to success.
A strong compliance focus eager to execute everyday with best practice
