BOCA GELATO is looking for a reliable, energetic and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team in Ivanhoe.

You'll work alongside our artisan gelato chefs and play an significant role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. This is a hands-on position where you'll be involved in gelato production, food preparation and general kitchen duties.

What you'll be doing
Assisting our chefs with gelato preparation and production
Helping with food preparation and general kitchen tasks
Washing, cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and hygienic
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Helping with stock, ingredients and day-to-day kitchen organisation
Supporting the team during busy periods
Working efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail

We're looking for someone who
Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with others
Is comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
Takes pride in keeping their workspace clean and organised




Has valuable attention to detail
Is willing to learn and take direction
Works well as part of a small team
Has previous kitchen, hospitality or food-production experience (preferred, but not essential)
