You'll be working on large-scale used or brand new heavy machinery and equipment, stripping, repairing and preparing machines before they head into the spray booth. You'll be responsible for getting machinery straight, smooth and paint-ready.
Key responsibilities
Panel beating and dent repairs
Cutting, grinding and metal preparation
Welding and basic fabrication
Repairing and replacing damaged panels
Filling, sanding and surface preparation
Stripping machinery and components
DA sanding and hand sanding
General prep work prior to spray painting
Working alongside spray painters to achieve a quality finish
General knowledge of R&R;
About you
Trade experience in panel beating, fabrication, spray painting preparation or similar
Good knowledge of hand and power tools
Welding and fabrication experience
A good eye for detail
The ability to work independently without needing to be chased
A solid work ethic and reliable attitude
The ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard
