An exciting opportunity has arisen within the SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY Team for an enthusiastic and experienced person to join us to help promote our mental health messages to the community, help the community get involved in SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY and strengthen our impact in Tasmania.

This is a 12-month fixed term, part time (0.6FTE) role covering parental leave.

The Stay ChatTY Community Engagement Officer will be based in our Hobart office and responsible for delivering our social media and online content, marketing activities, fundraising and donor management, and supporting our events and administration.

Position Responsibility
Develop written content and creative assets for all social media channels and website, including briefing and managing external designers or videographers
Lead in the development of website content and maintenance including the online store
Lead role with media, including drafting media releases,



liaising with PR and news agencies to disseminate and secure media opportunities, attend relevant media events
Lead role in fundraisers and donor experiences including coordinating interactions and activations
Planning, promotion (organic and paid), and delivery of major events including Shorts Day and Gala Ball
Delivery of projects and initiatives in accordance with contract requirements and contract deliverables
Represent Stay ChatTY at meetings/events as required
Any other duties as required and within the general scope of the classification descriptor and level/band for this position.
