Sydney | Immediate Start | Hybrid | 6-Month Contract | $900 - $1,100 per day + Super

Talent Locker is partnering with a leading Australian technology services organisation to find an experienced Senior Network Engineer for an initial 6-month contract.

This is a hands-on role working across multiple enterprise environments, delivering network design, network projects, upgrades and migrations alongside Level 3 operational support.

We’re looking for someone who is immediately available, technically robust across Cisco and Fortinet and comfortable working in complex, customer-facing enterprise environments.

What you'll be doing:
Deliver network infrastructure projects, upgrades and migrations
Provide Level 3 network support and troubleshooting
Configure and support Cisco switching and routing
Work extensively with Fortinet / FortiGate firewalls
Support network security, LAN/WAN and wireless environments
Produce transparent technical documentation and handover material
Work across multiple customer environments and priorities
Collaborate with project, engineering and customer teams to deliver solutions

What we're looking for:




Strong commercial experience as a Senior Network Engineer
Excellent Cisco routing and switching skills
Strong hands-on Fortinet / FortiGate experience
Client facing Consulting skills
Experience delivering network upgrades, migrations and implementation projects
Robust troubleshooting skills across enterprise network environments
Experience working within an MSP, managed services or multi-customer environment highly regarded
Palo Alto experience advantageous but not essential
Strong communication and documentation skills
The ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision

The chance: This is a great contract for an experienced network engineer who enjoys a mix of project delivery and high-level technical support , rather than being stuck purely in BAU.

Location: Sydney – Hybrid

Contract: Initial 6 months

Rate: $800–$1,100 per day + super, depending on experience
