Role DescriptionWe are seeking an IT Application Operations Specialist to support and maintain business applications, ensuring system availability, performance, and reliable daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor application performance, availability, and system health.
Provide technical support for business applications.
Troubleshoot incidents, errors, and application issues.
Manage service requests, incidents, problems, and changes.
Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, and security teams.
Perform application maintenance, configuration, and upgrades.
Support system interfaces, APIs, integrations, and scheduled jobs.
Assist with application testing, deployments, and releases.
Maintain technical documentation and operational records.
Coordinate with vendors and external service providers.
Support user access and application security controls.
Analyze recurring issues and implement preventive solutions.
Prepare operational reports and performance updates.
Support system optimization and continuous improvement.




Ensure applications meet business and operational requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Relevant experience in application support or IT operations.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of SQL, databases, APIs, and system integrations.
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, cloud platforms, or enterprise applications.
Knowledge of ITIL or IT service management is an advantage.
Experience with monitoring and ticketing systems.
Understanding of user access, security, and backup procedures.
Solid analytical and organizational skills.
Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple incidents and priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT support tools.
Qualified, reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
