Role Description The Finance Systems Specialist is a contract role based in Melbourne, VIC, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows a combination of in office and work-from-home days. In this role, the specialist will configure, support, and optimize finance-related ERP modules (such as SAP S/4HANA Finance), ensuring system reliability and alignment with business requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial processes, translating business needs into system solutions, managing data integrity, and troubleshooting issues across integrated systems.

The specialist will collaborate closely with finance, IT, and project stakeholders to support implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvements, including testing, documentation, and user training. The role also involves contributing to governance and control frameworks to support compliance, reporting accuracy, and scalable financial operations.

Qualifications
Strong experience with finance and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, S/4HANA Finance)



and the ability to translate finance processes into system configurations.
Proficiency in financial process analysis, data mapping, and master data management within complex enterprise settings.
Hands-on skills in system testing, troubleshooting, integration support, and documentation for finance-related technology solutions.
