Key Duties and Responsibilities • Consult with clients and provide advice on hair care, grooming, hairstyles, and suitable hair products.
Shampoo, condition, and treat hair and scalp to maintain healthy hair.
Perform hair colouring, bleaching, straightening, perming, and other chemical treatments.
Cut, trim, and shape hair using scissors, clippers, razors, and other qualified tools.
Style hair according to client preferences, including braiding, hair extensions, and contemporary styling techniques.
Shave, trim, and groom beards and moustaches to achieve desired looks.
Clean and sanitise workstations, equipment, and tools in accordance with health and safety standards.
Manage client bookings, appointments, and process payments when required.
Maintain a high standard of customer service and contribute to a positive salon environment.
Clean, colour, cut,



and style wigs or hairpieces when required.

Skills and Experience • Relevant Hairdressing or Barbering qualification, or at least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).
Strong knowledge of hair cutting, colouring, styling, and grooming techniques.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced salon environment.
Knowledge of workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Reliable, qualified, and team-oriented attitude.

Pay: $52,880.00 – $90,992.60 per year
