Role Description The Event Manager is a part-time, in office role based at ARCADE Bar & Club in Sydney, NSW. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including corporate functions, private parties, and social gatherings. Day-to-day responsibilities include liaising with clients to understand event requirements, preparing proposals, managing bookings, and coordinating with bar, kitchen, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery.

The Event

Manager monitors event timelines, manages floor plans and setups,



and ensures high standards of service and guest satisfaction throughout each event. Additional tasks include tracking event budgets, reporting on event performance, and supporting marketing initiatives to promote venue offerings and packages.

Qualifications
Event planning and coordination skills, including experience managing corporate and social events.
Strong client relationship and customer service abilities, with a focus on clear communication and responsiveness.
Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple bookings, timelines, and priorities.
Basic budgeting and administrative skills to manage event costs, contracts, and documentation.
Experience in hospitality, bars, or venues, with knowledge of food and beverage service operations.
Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
Comfort working on-site in a quick-paced environment, including evenings and weekends as required.
Diploma or degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
