The organization delivers core supports, supported independent living, positive behavior support, specialist support coordination, and forensic services such as risk assessment, secondary consultation, and forensic support. Role Description This casual Support Worker role is based in Mt Eliza VIC. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing direct support to a female participant who has a physical disability and complex disability needs, promoting independence in daily living, assisting with personal care including 2 person hoist transfers, community access,



and household tasks as required. The role involves implementing behavior support plans, supporting risk management strategies, and maintaining transparent, accurate documentation and progress notes.

The Disability Support

Worker will collaborate with clinical and coordination teams, and contribute to safeguarding and quality service delivery. The role also requires building respectful relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders, following NDIS standards and organizational policies at all times.

Qualifications
Experience as a Support Worker or in a similar disability support role, preferably with complex needs
Knowledge of Safeguarding practices, duty of care, and risk management, with a commitment to participant rights, safety, and ethical service delivery.
Relevant qualification in disability, community services, social work, or a related field (or progress towards such qualifications) and current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check
Understanding of NDIS frameworks, person-centered practice
