Role DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable data systems and pipelines. This role focuses on transforming raw data into high-quality, accessible datasets that support business intelligence, analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
You will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, data integration workflows, and processing solutions across multiple data sources. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver efficient, accurate, and well-structured data solutions.
The role also involves monitoring data quality, optimizing data processing performance, troubleshooting pipeline issues, and implementing processes to improve data reliability and availability. You will contribute to data architecture, database design, ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and documentation while supporting the continuous improvement of the organization's data infrastructure.
You will also stay informed about up-to-date data technologies and contribute to automation, scalability, security, and best practices across the data setting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology,
Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and database technologies.
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
Understanding of data processing and orchestration tools such as Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or similar technologies is preferred.
Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.
Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Positive understanding of data quality, security, governance, and documentation principles.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large and complex datasets.
Positive communication and collaboration skills when working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive mindset with a strong interest in data technologies, automation, and continuous improvement.
Good command of English and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
