Forklift Operator

About the Role
H People is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a day shift role based in Yatala, working with a specialist manufacturer of custom timber and plywood components. You'll be supporting production and dispatch, moving sheet materials, precision-cut panels and finished components in a fast-paced factory and yard setting.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in accuracy and safety, and who's comfortable working around machinery, tight racking and staged loads.

Key Responsibilities
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently across the yard, warehouse and production areas
Load and unload sheet timber, plywood panels and finished components from trucks
Move and stage materials to support panel cutting and production schedules
Store and retrieve stock accurately within racking and yard layouts
Assist with picking, packing and dispatch of customer orders
Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with safety standards
Support the broader production team as required





What We're Looking For
Proven forklift experience in a warehouse, yard or manufacturing setting
Valid forklift licence (LF preferred)
Experience handling sheet materials or timber products highly regarded
Reliable and punctual, comfortable with an early 7:00am start
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
Must be able to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
