Position: Mechanical Fitter - Trains & Automotive
We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team based in Ingleburn, NSW.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled mechanical tradesperson to work across automotive vehicles, carrying out mechanical fitting, maintenance, repairs and component installation.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Mechanical fitting, assembly and installation
Maintenance and repairs on trains and vehicles
Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults
Removing, fitting and replacing mechanical components
Working with hand and power tools
Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Following workplace health and safety procedures

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Mechanical Fitter trade qualification or relevant experience
Previous experience in heavy vehicle,



rail, automotive or industrial environments
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read mechanical drawings
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attitude and strong work ethic
Commitment to safety and quality
