About the role

As a Family Lawyer (4+ years PAE) you will play a key role in providing strategic family legal advice and representation to a diverse range of clients. This is a full time permanent position that can be based in Dandenong, Melbourne, or Pascoe Vale.

Key responsibilities
Advising clients on all aspects of family law, including divorce, property settlement, child custody and support
Drafting complex legal documents such as consent orders, financial agreements and parenting plans
Representing clients in mediations, arbitrations and court proceedings
Conducting legal research and analysis to support the resolution of complex family law matters
Mentoring and supervising more junior members of the legal team
Excellent 'client service' & attention to detail

About you
Proven experience operating at Associate or Senior Associate level in family law,



with a proven track record of successfully representing clients
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain English
Excellent legal research and analytical skills
Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring more junior lawyers
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
