Primary Role

The primary role of a yard person is to ensure all yard activities are completed safely, on time and in-line with any specific project related requirements or requests as instructed and advised by the Yard Supervisor or Assets & Logistics Manager.

Tasks & responsibilities

· Pick/Packing of tools and materials on a daily outgoing basis to support five to ten demolition projects.

· Evaluate all tools returned daily - clean, test, and return to designated area or get repaired by workshop as required.

· Ensure movements are promptly and correctly entered into database whilst ensuring stockholding and minimum levels of tools and materials are maintained &/or reported.

· Maintain yard and warehouse on a cleared and clean basis so the business can function efficiently and effectively.





· Metropolitan Deliveries & Collection of Tools Throughout Sydney.

· Loading & unloading of plant & equipment, as required

· Operate yard equipment as appropriate and applicable.

· Liaison with project managers and staff as & where required.

· General labouring works as required.

· General administrative duties and other tasks as applicable.

· Monday to Friday roster (+ approx. 1 x Saturday a month).

Qualifications

· NSW Drivers Licence - Confident Driver with Positive Driving Record

· Ability to Tow & Reverse Trailers

· White Card

· Knowledge of Construction & Tools an Advantage

· Forklift Licence / Excavator Ticket (Not Necessary but Preferable)
