About You

The HSIE Coordinator (2-point) is a temporary leadership role (up to 3 years) with release time, while your full-time teaching position remains permanent. The role focuses on leading teaching excellence and improving learning outcomes across Years 7-12.

As a HSIE Coordinator, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:
create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
demonstrate sound knowledge and qualifications in developing a 7-12 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
lead improvement, change and career development of the HSIE team
support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
ensure curriculum compliance for HSIE
communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all stakeholders
demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation




Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as perAccreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
