About the role
n
We'relooking for aSenior Manager - Technology Portfolio Management Office (IT PMO)to lead our Technology PMO and play a critical role in driving delivery excellence across AGL's technology change portfolio. This is an opportunity to shape how technology investments are
governed,prioritisedand
delivered, while building a high-performing team that enables strategic outcomes across the business.

As thethoughtleader of theTechnology PMO, you will provide
leadership,governanceand
oversight across AGL's technology portfolio, ensuring initiatives are delivered with
transparency,consistencyand
accountability.
n
You will partner closely with senior Technology leaders toprovideclear portfolio insights across investment performance, delivery progress, resourcing,
risks,dependenciesand
benefits realisation. Through strong governance frameworks and practical delivery disciplines,you'llhelp drive informed decision-making and support the successful execution of AGL's technology strategy.
n
You'llalso lead and develop a team of Program Managers, Project Managers, Change Managers and Business Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous
improvement,collaborationand
delivery excellence.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Lead and evolve the Technology PMO, building capability and delivery maturity across Program Managers, Project Managers, Change Managers and Business Analysts.
n
Establish andmaintainfit-for-purpose governance frameworks, delivery
standards,controlsand
reporting practices that support successful project outcomes.
n
Provide portfolio-wide visibility of demand, delivery pipelines, resource
capacity,dependenciesand
investment priorities.
n




Partner with Technology leaders to support portfolio
planning,prioritisationand
strategic decision-making.
n
Oversee portfolio financial governance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking,
investmentreportingand
benefits realisation.
n
Deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards and insights that provide clear visibility of portfolio
performance,risksand
delivery outcomes.
n
Facilitate governance forums and portfolio operating rhythms to support effective oversight and accountability.
n
Build strong relationships across
Technology,Financeand
business stakeholders to improve delivery effectiveness and alignment.
n
Drive performance measurement and benefits realisation through meaningful metrics and data-driven insights.
n
Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project and portfolio management practices across Technology.

What You'll Bring
n
n
Significant experienceleading PMO, portfolio management, projectdeliveryor transformation functions within large and complex
organisations.Ideally,
you will have experience inestablishinga similar function.
n
Strong knowledge of portfolio governance, delivery assurance, project
controls,reportingand
risk management.
n
Experience working across large technology portfolios with multiple concurrent initiatives and diverse stakeholder groups.
n
Demonstrated
successestablishingor
improving PMO frameworks, delivery methodologies,
governanceprocessesand
reporting capabilities.
n
Experience supporting financial governance activities including budgeting, forecasting,
investmentoversightand
benefits realisation.
n
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex portfolio data into actionable insights.
n
Strong communicationand stakeholder engagement skills, including experience influencing and advising senior leaders and executives.
n
Proven ability to lead, coach and develop delivery professionals while fostering a high-performance,



continuous improvement culture.
n
Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of portfolio investment management and delivery performance.
n
Experience managing vendor, labour,projectand investment costs within a large technology workplace will be highly regarded.
n
