About the Role

Are you ready to make a significant impact? At NG Bailey, our Engineering team has just completed a cutting-edge building for the University of Bristol, and we're gearing up to mobilize our Facilities Services team to keep it running smoothly. We're on the lookout for a proactive Contract Supervisor who will champion health, safety, and compliance from day one!
n
This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new contract from the ground up. You'll collaborate closely with the Compliance Manager and our operational team to ensure that our high standards are met and maintained every day.
n
Your Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support the Compliance Manager in fostering a "Safety First and Foremost" culture throughout the contract.
n
Be a visible, hands-on presence on site, providing practical advice to engineers and operational staff.
n
Build strong relationships with clients and site stakeholders, promoting collaboration and best practices.
n
Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and compliance checks against NG Bailey and client standards.
n
Assist in incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and tracking corrective actions.
n
Help prepare health and safety reports and documentation for operational meetings and client forums.
n
Coordinate toolbox talks and safety briefings for the site team.
n

What We're Looking For
n
We seek an engaging, safety-conscious professional who thrives on being a visible presence on site and enjoys building relationships. You will bring:
n
n
Proven electrical and mechanical experience in a critical environment.
n
Expertise in both commercial and domestic systems,
with the ability to perform PPMs according to SFG20 or equivalent standards.
n
Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
n
Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds or equivalent).
n
HVAP knowledge is desirable; LVAP experience is a plus.
n
Experience supervising reactive repairs and managing small projects.
n
