We're looking for Field Maintenance Technicians to support our East Coast Metals Mining Services team.
n
n
FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns, or Townsville
n
Regular roster 8/6
n
Supporting operations across the Mount Isa region
n
n
In this role, you'll provide field-based maintenance and breakdown support across mobile and fixed plant equipment-playing a critical part in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently.
n
What you will be doing
n
n
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical breakdowns on mobile and fixed plant;
n
Performing scheduled servicing, repairs, and maintenance;
n
Supporting site teams with equipment reliability and performance;
n
Identifying risks and taking action to ensure safe operations;
n
Contributing to maintenance planning and continuous improvement;
n
Providing on-site support and client engagement where needed;
n
Promoting and following strong safety practices and compliance standards.

About the Candidate
n
n
Ability to diagnose and repair heavy vehicle or plant equipment faults;




n
Strong commitment to safety, risk awareness, and compliance;
n
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment;
n
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and service delivery;
n
Valid driver's license.
n
n
Learnable Skills:
n
n
Experience with Volvo trucks or mining equipment;
n
Exposure to auto electrical systems;
n
Knowledge of explosives-related compliance (AEC, ADG, MPU, AS****);
n
HR license or similar;
n
Queensland Explosives Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
n
