Starting in January ****, we are seeking to engage a Primary Years Teacher on a Full Time Permanent basis to join our dynamic and engaging Primary Years team, working towards creating positive pathways for students.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Primary Years curriculum and the College's teaching framework.
n
Identify diverse learning needs and plan experiences that enable all students to achieve success.
n
Assess and provide both positive and critical feedback that monitors progress and gives clear, actionable steps for improvement.
n
Maintain accurate records and reporting to be able to provide students and parents with detail and informative written and oral reports.
n
Support wellbeing and manage behaviour by building rapport, maintaining an orderly classroom, and following up concerns in line with policy.
n




Contribute to the College community and qualified practice through teamwork, cocurricular involvement, administration, supervision and ongoing development.

What You Bring
n

A relevant Graduate Teaching qualification and current Queensland Teacher Registration.
n
Comprehensive knowledge of curriculum development and implementation, and contemporary educational issues.
n
Proven classroom teaching capability, including effective planning, delivery, classroom management, assessment and reporting.
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
n
Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
n
