The Role
n
As a Senior Accountant / Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services while mentoring junior team members and supporting client relationships.
n
This position is ideal for a technically strong public practice professional who enjoys both client-facing work and team leadership responsibilities.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare and review complex individual, company, partnership,



and trust tax returns
n
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
n
Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulatory requirements
n
Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards
n
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
n
Build and maintain strong client relationships
n
Manage the workflow for the team
n
Assist with the provision of business advisory and coaching services for clients
n
n
About You
n
n
CA qualification (preferred but not required)
n
Minimum of 4 years' experience in Australian public practice
n
Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and financial reporting standards
n
Proficient in Xero, including Xero Tax
n
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
n
Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple client portfolios
n
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability
n
High level of professionalism and integrity
n
