About the Role:
Based at our facility in Byford, this is your chance to create meaningful, joyful experiences for our residents!
You'll get to know each person's life story, interests, and goals, and design engaging individual and group activities that meet their psychosocial, cognitive, spiritual, and occupational needs.
You'll plan and coordinate fun events - both inside and outside the community, ensuring everyone feels included and connected.
For residents living with dementia or complex needs, you'll create tailored activities that reflect their abilities and preferences, reviewing plans regularly to ensure ongoing support.
You'll maintain clear, easy-to-read activity calendars, track outcomes, and report progress to the Residential Manager.
The role also involves supporting volunteers, fostering their involvement, and partnering with residents to co-design programs and initiatives.
This is a hands-on, creative role where you can make a real difference, bring energy and positivity to everyday life, and help residents stay active, engaged, and connected in a vibrant, welcoming community.
Roster:
Part-time role - 3 days per week, 21 hours per week
Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
Week 2: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

About You:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor of Leisure and Health, Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, or a related qualification or equivalent
Previous experience as a Lifestyle Coordinator, with experience in aged care, including supporting people living with dementia and providing end-of-life care
Current driver's licence
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
Understanding of BaptistCare's Christian values
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
