We are seeking a passionate and driven individual who is ready to take the next step to advance their career as the Assistant Director Perioperative and Clinical Services at our Werribee campus.
About Your New Role
This is a permanent full time position and will be pivotal in providing professional and operational leadership to the clinical workforce at St Vincent's Private Hospital Werribee, as well as contributing to the development and achievement of strategic objectives.
This role will also provide support and assistance to the General Manager/Director of Clinical Services.

About You
Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with AHPRA
Post graduate qualification in advanced nursing, preferably critical care or perioperative or business management related field
Experience in acute care setting
Enrolled or working towards Master of Nursing/ or equivalent is highly desired.
Demonstrated evidence of clinical leadership
The ability to engage with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and the local community
Demonstrated previous experience in strategic and operational management of a business unit.

Requirements




Criminal record and/or child protection checks will be conducted and will form part of the selection criteria for this role.
SVPHM has a duty of care under work health and safety legislation to eliminate and/or control the risk of transmission of vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) in healthcare settings.
You are therefore required to comply with the SVHA Staff Health Screening Immunisation Policy, which, depending on the role you perform in the organisation will require you to undergo mandatory immunisations/vaccinations (including flu vaccinations).
