Role
Kaplan Business School (KBS) is seeking sessional facilitators (lecturers) for our Information Technology discipline at our Perth campus.
The primary purpose of facilitators at KBS is to facilitate engaging, highly interactive, structured workshops in accordance with the syllabus, mark assignments in line with marking guides, and provide regular feedback and consultation to students.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Applicants must hold either a doctoral qualification or, at a minimum, a master's degree (AQF Level 9) that is directly aligned with one or more of the cognate specialisations listed below, together with substantial and relevant industry experience in the same field.
Applications will only be considered where both academic qualifications and industry experience demonstrate a clear and direct alignment with the teaching discipline.

Requirements
A doctoral qualification, or at minimum a master's qualification (AQF level 9) directly aligned with the teaching discipline
Substantial and recent industry experience aligned with the teaching area
For master's qualified applicants, evidence of active membership in a relevant qualified association or recognised industry body
Evidence of current professional engagement in the discipline area
An appreciation of the distinction between lecturing and educating
Sensitivity to the needs of international students
Comprehensiveness and thoughtfulness when marking assessments
Ability to meet academic timelines and expectations
