About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership across the Care at Home portfolio.
This role goes beyond traditional finance reporting.
You will play a critical role in driving commercial performance, influencing executive decision making and supporting organisational growth through insightful financial analysis, business partnering and performance leadership.
You will bring together operational and financial perspectives to drive sustainable business outcomes while supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering
Act as the primary finance partner to operational and executive leaders.
Build trusted relationships across the business and provide strategic financial guidance.
Support the development and execution of growth strategies and operational initiatives.
Challenge assumptions and provide commercial insights to improve decision making.
Contribute to leadership forums and strategic planning discussions.
Commercial Performance & Analytics
Analyse revenue, margin, labour productivity and profitability performance.
Identify trends, risks and opportunities impacting business outcomes.
Develop pricing models and commercial frameworks.
Support growth opportunities including acquisitions, partnerships and service expansion.
Deliver meaningful reporting, dashboards and performance insights.
Provide financial support for contract negotiations and funding submissions.
Financial Planning & Reporting
Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
Partner with operational leaders to align financial plans with strategic objectives.
Support month‐end reporting processes in partnership with Group Finance.
Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, variance analysis and performance commentary.
Support audit, compliance and governance requirements.
Business Cases & Investment Evaluation
Develop business cases for current services, contracts and investment opportunities.
Build financial models that assess operational, financial and strategic outcomes.
Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
Support Executive and Board decision making through evidence‐based recommendations.
Continuous Improvement & Leadership
Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting.
Drive automation and finance transformation initiatives.
Build financial capability across operational teams.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Champion commercial thinking throughout the organisation.
About You
You are a commercially astute and strategic finance leader with a proven ability to translate complex financial and operational data into meaningful business insights.
Skilled at building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, you thrive in fast‐paced, evolving environments and enjoy partnering across a complex organisation to solve business challenges and drive performance.
Passionate about delivering impact beyond the numbers, you leverage financial insights to support informed decision-making,
sustainable growth and meaningful organisational outcomes.
You Will Bring
Essential Experience 8+ years' experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A;, Business Partnering, Management Accounting or a related finance leadership role.
Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives and operational leaders.
Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and business case development skills.
Strong commercial analysis and performance management capability.
Proven ability to influence stakeholder decision making.
Experience working within large, complex and matrixed organisations.
Advanced Excel and financial reporting expertise.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications CA or CPA qualification.
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business.
Highly Regarded Healthcare, aged care or community services experience.
Experience with Power BI and data visualisation tools.
Exposure to growth, transformation, mergers and acquisitions or large-scale change initiatives.
Knowledge of healthcare or aged care funding models.
