MAINTENANCE / GROUNDSPERSON

n Hours / FTE: 30 hours per week

Classification & Benefits: This role is classified as Level (insert level) unaveraged) under the NSW and ACT Systemic Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement **** as updated or reviewed. Detailed information regarding the level, salary increments, and general employment conditions can be found within the Agreement.

hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check

comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Selection Criteria:
n
n
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with all members of the school community both individually and as a member of a team
n
Understanding of and capability to apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning equipment and materials
n
Proven ability as an effective team member
n




Physical fitness is an essential criterion as the role requires some lifting and physical labour.
n
Ability to understand the work environment by, learning quickly to use and maintain, cleaning equipment, materials and chemical supplies.
n
Supports productive working relationships by carrying out cleaning duties with limited supervision and cooperatively participate as a team member.
n
Displays personal drive and integrity.
n
Awareness of the need for security in relation to rooms and buildings, personal property and equipment.
