The opportunity:
We are seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical Commissioning Technicians to join our team on a major resource project just outside Newman in WA.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a high-performing team delivering critical infrastructure in the heart of the Pilbara, one of Australia's most significant and dynamic resource regions.
The role offers exposure to industry-leading standards, modern test equipment, and the chance to contribute to a project that will play a key role in supporting ongoing operations in the mining sector.
Work Scope:
As a Construction Electrician, you will be responsible for but not limited to
:
Support the mechanical commissioning, testing and handover of fixed-plant equipment.
Work closely with construction, commissioning, engineering and operations teams throughout the commissioning process.
Verify mechanical completion and ensure equipment has been installed in accordance with project requirements.
Assist with pre-commissioning, functional testing, inspections and fault identification.
Support defect rectification and punch-list close-out activities.
Ensure equipment is tested, compliant and ready for safe operation and handover to the operations team.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner Trade Certificate
Construction Card (White)
Working At Heights
Confined Space Entry
Australian Working Rights
Minimum of 5 years' proven experience
