The Role:
n
Working in our Purchasing department, you will hold a critical role in the hotel. Based in our Loading Dock, you will be responsible for the daily operations of incoming goods for various departments. Your day-to-day duties include,



inspecting and examining the quality and inventory of stock, cross referencing incoming stock with invoices and ensuring storage areas are maintained and organised. There will be a decent amount of manual handling involved with this role, so duties must be conducted in a protected and efficient manner.

Dedicated work ethic, with an eye for detail and accuracy
n
Ability to operate in a high volume and fast-paced environment
n
Strong multi-modal communication skills – including verbal, reading and written
n
Competency in working both collaboratively and independently
n
Capacity to operate a pallet jack, lift and move heavy items
n
Experience with accounting software systems - highly regarded
n
Possessing a forklift license - highly regarded
n
Full working rights in Australia, with availability to work early morning shifts commencing from 6:00AM (including some Saturdays)
