Overview Due to the exciting growth of our General Insurance team, we are currently recruiting multiple Claims Consultants to support our Specialty and Long Tail teams within the General Insurance division.
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of general insurance claims, focusing on delivering fair, timely and customer-focused outcomes.
You will be responsible for end-to-end claims management, working closely with claimants, clients and stakeholders to assess, investigate and resolve claims in line with policy, regulatory requirements and best practice.
How you'll make an impact On a day to day basis, you will: Manage a portfolio of claims from lodgement through to resolution.
Assess coverage and liability in accordance with policy and legislative requirements.
Engage with claimants, brokers and stakeholders to progress claims.
Investigate claims, gather evidence and determine appropriate outcomes.
Negotiate settlements and ensure timely resolution of claims.
Maintain accurate claims records and documentation.




Identify opportunities for early resolution and improved customer outcomes.
Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory standards.
