Play a key role in shaping and strengthening MinRes' psychosocial safety approach by providing trusted legal, regulatory and technical advice that supports safer workplaces and compliant operations.
Partner with People, Safety and operational leaders to deliver practical, risk-based guidance on psychosocial hazards, incident management, controls and regulatory obligations.
Lead high-impact coordination across audits, regulator enquiries, reporting and assurance activities, helping the business respond confidently, meet its obligations and drive continuous improvement.
About the role Reporting to the Manager Psychosocial Safety and Diversity, the Advisor Psychosocial Safety provides legal, regulatory and technical advice to support MinRes' management of psychosocial hazards, incidents and compliance obligations.
Working closely with People, Safety and operational leaders, the role delivers practical guidance on risk management, controls and compliance, while coordinating regulator responses and associated reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities; Provide legal, regulatory and technical advice on psychosocial obligations, including regulator engagement, compliance requirements, notices, audits, submission reviews and responses to external agencies.
Manage regulator and external agency enquiries by coordinating stakeholders, collating and quality-checking evidence, identifying gaps, tracking deadlines and ensuring timely, accurate submissions.
Maintain confidential, accurate and auditable psychosocial safety records, registers and evidence trails, including incidents, risk assessments, controls, training, correspondence and actions.
Coordinate audits, assurance activities,



review cycles, hazard and risk register updates, critical controls, action plans and continuous improvement measures.
Support the development, monitoring and reporting of psychosocial KPIs, leadership reports and Board briefings aligned with ISO *****, ISO *****, WHS legislation and regulator expectations.
Coordinate training, meetings, communications and administration, including enrolments, completion tracking, safety calls, shared mailbox management, feedback registers, SharePoint and document control.
What you'll bring to the team Territory qualification in law, work health and safety, human resources, psychology, risk, or another relevant discipline.
Knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, regulation, codes of practice and regulator expectations, particularly in relation to psychosocial hazards.
Demonstrated ability to interpret legal, regulatory and technical requirements and translate them into practical operational advice.
Strong stakeholder-management, communication and influencing skills.
High level of discretion, judgement and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
