Position: Electrical Appliance Technician Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: South Ripley QLD **** Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Appliance Technician to join their team servicing customers across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Installation, servicing and maintenance of residential and commercial AC units Perform repairs and maintenance on domestic appliances including refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, ovens and other electrical appliances Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify faults and determine the most cost-effective solutions Install current AC systems and appliances in accordance with manufacturer specifications and relevant building codes Test repaired and newly installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety Maintain detailed service records and provide customers with clear explanations of work completed and recommendations for preventative maintenance Respond promptly to service calls and manage time efficiently to meet scheduled appointments Adhere to all health and safety regulations and work practices relevant to electrical and mechanical systems Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional conduct and quality workmanship Requirements: AQF Certificate III, Certificate IV or higher in relevant field At least 12 months of hands-on experience as an Electrical Appliance Technician Current Driver's Licence Current White Card Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Commitment to safety and quality standards.
