AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs.
As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve.
SSAs craft secure, scalable, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges.
This might involve guiding customers as they refactor an application or designing entirely new cloud-based systems.
The Senior GTM Specialist SA, APJC, Security is a customer-facing technical role that combines deep security expertise with go-to-market execution.
You will drive security-focused programs at scale across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader Asia-Pacific, Japan bring customer feedback to AWS service teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
- Develop field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate AWS security services into customer architectures.
- Partner with Business Development and GTM specialists to qualify pipeline, support conversion of security-adjacent opportunities, and identify new workloads.
Key job responsibilities - Apply your advanced technical expertise and experience in Security architecture and philosophy to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
- Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
- Act as a thought leader, sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers,
reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.
- Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.
A day in the life Meet with customers and their account managers and solution architects for the largest and most strategic customer accounts to discuss opportunities to transform their workloads with AWS.
Discuss the same opportunities with supporting AWS service specialist teams, cloud economics and partner teams to fine tune architectures, solutions and migration strategies.
Share updates on customer trends with the team and key stakeholders before celebrating with the extended team in a collaborative and hybrid working environment.
