Are you an experienced disability support professional ready to take the next step in your leadership career?
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Team Leader to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Short-Term Accommodation (STA) services in a permanent full-time role.
This is a unique opportunity to make a genuine difference in the life of a participant while leading a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional person-centred support.
Working within a complex support environment requiring 2:1 staffing at all times , you will provide hands-on support, coach and mentor Disability Support Workers, coordinate rosters and workforce requirements, and oversee daily service delivery.
Your leadership will foster a positive, collaborative team culture while ensuring safe, high-quality supports that promote independence, wellbeing, and meaningful outcomes.
As a key leader,
you will drive continuous improvement and ensure services align with NDIS standards and organisational values.
Flexibility to work across a rotating roster is essential, including Active Night Shifts (10:00pm to 6:00am), Morning Shifts (6:00am to 10:00am), and Afternoon Shifts (3:00pm to 10:00pm) .

Your skills and experience Provide effective leadership, mentoring and supervision of DSWs to assist the development and achievement of team and client goals.
Roster development, maintenance and review ensuring adherence to SJOGA guidelines, EBA, funding and legislation.
Active involvement in the implementation and review of person-centered plans (PCPs) as required, Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) in conjunction with clients and their circle of support and any other relevant stakeholders.
Ensure all relevant records (including but not limited to) file notes, incident reports, OHS requirements, client and household finances and health management records are accurately maintained and updated either electronically or paper based (as required).
Manage the activities of the team including work allocation, rostering and resourcing of the house.
Participation in and delivery of Accord's Career development and Supervision (PDS) sessions with DSWs which includes the identification of skill gaps and learning development requirements for direct reports and teams.
Oversee, mentor and support staff in the delivery of client programs and client support plans.
Actively monitor compliance, development and maintenance of Person Centered Plans (PCPs)
and Behaviour Support Plans (BSP).
We are looking for a confident and capable professional who can build strong relationships with key stakeholders while effectively managing service performance and leading teams to success.
You will bring demonstrated leadership experience, along with the initiative to think creatively and drive innovative approaches in service delivery.
Successful applicants must hold a Certificate IV or above in Disability studies or related discipline, valid NDIS Screening Clearance , drivers license , current working with children check and first aid certificate .
