Role Overview We are seeking an experienced, empathetic General Practitioner to join our permanent clinical team.
The successful candidate will manage a broad scope of primary care presentations, provide continuity of care, and contribute to preventive health initiatives.
This is a full-time or part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive consultations for acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, and routine health assessments.
Create and maintain accurate patient records, manage referrals, and coordinate care with allied health professionals and specialists.
Deliver immunisations, health promotion, and chronic disease management according to best practice guidelines.
Perform minor procedures within GP scope of practice and order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests.
Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement activities, and peer review to maintain high standards of care.
Contribute to a positive workplace culture,
mentoring junior staff and engaging in collaborative case management.
Skills and Attributes Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills across a broad range of primary care presentations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
Organised, reliable, and capable of managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to patient-centered care, cultural sensitivity, and continuous professional development.
Comfortable with digital clinical systems, telehealth consultations, and routine use of electronic medical records.
Qualifications and Requirements MBBS, FRACGP or equivalent medical degree and general practice qualification.
Current Australian Medical Board registration and appropriate indemnity insurance.
Experience in Australian primary care is preferred; new Fellows are encouraged to apply.
Medicare provider number or eligibility to obtain one.
