14-month contract | Part-time, 4 days per week | North Sydney | Hybrid working Impact of the organisation Catholic Mission (CM) is the Pope's international mission agency in Australia, an organisation that partners with communities around the world, helping them to flourish by supporting grassroots projects, including healthcare, education and faith formation and being an active voice for human rights.
CM contributes funding and provides project support to critical church-run initiatives in Africa, Asia, Oceania, and South America, as well as remote dioceses within Australia.
Impact you will have in this role Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the Campaigns Coordinator will play a key role in the delivery and growth of Catholic Mission's Individual Giving program, coordinating a diverse portfolio of fundraising campaigns, church appeals, and supporter engagement activities.
You'll coordinate multi-channel fundraising campaigns from concept through to completion, including warm appeals, donor acquisition and reactivation.
Working closely with Fundraising, Digital, Communications and Data, you'll bring compelling campaigns to life while using insights and performance to strengthen acquisition, retention and the overall supporter journey.
With scope to contribute new ideas and explore new approaches, this is a varied opportunity to help shape and grow Catholic Mission's Individual Giving program.
Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging multi-channel fundraising campaigns from concept through to completion, across direct mail, digital, email, SMS, phone and other channels.
Coordinate warm,
acquisition, reactivation and emergency appeals, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and against income and engagement targets.
Work collaboratively with Digital, Communications and Data teams on campaign creative, audience segmentation, supporter journeys and performance optimisation.
Support the growth of the Individual Giving donor base, identifying opportunities to improve acquisition, retention, second-gift conversion and long-term donor value.
Coordinate parish appeals and community fundraising activities, working with internal teams, external suppliers and community stakeholders to drive engagement and income.
Monitor and analyse campaign performance, using insights to optimise activity and inform future fundraising campaigns.
Manage relationships with external suppliers and agencies, coordinating copy, design, print, production and other campaign requirements.
Contribute fresh ideas and new approaches to continually strengthen donor engagement and the supporter experience.
Skills and Experience Previous experience delivering fundraising campaigns, ideally within the not-for-profit sector and across Individual Giving.
Experience coordinating multi-channel campaigns from planning through to delivery and evaluation.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders.
Confident working with CRM systems and donor data, with Salesforce experience highly regarded.
Strong copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging, donor-focused campaign content.
An analytical mindset, with experience using campaign data and insights to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
A collaborative approach and ability to build solid relationships across internal teams, agencies, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused, with the confidence to work autonomously and contribute new ideas.
