From annual skin checks and flu shots to our bi-annual health fair, we're committed to helping you stay healthy The Role The purpose of this role will be responsible for providing pro-active administrative services and support within the People and Culture team.
The role provides effective internal quality customer service and contributes to the implementation and delivery of HR administrative processes and systems.
A key focus is guiding an environment of continuous improvement and the promotion of a customer service culture within the P C team.
Key Responsibilities Assist with supporting all HR activities within Council, including where appropriate providing direct support to management and employees.
Support monitoring of the P C email inbox and triaging enquiries as needed Support P C through the provision of day-to-day administrative requirements to support delivery of services across all people related matters.
Processing correspondence, purchase orders and other financial transactions using TechnologyOne (TechOne) Support Recruitment Business Partner to coordinate and manage interview scheduling, recruitment compliance and screening activities, including medicals, criminal history checks,
VEVO checks.
Support Learning Business Partner in tracking employee learning and professional compliance Assist in completion of all recruitment activities and letter of offer generation and processes in conjunction with HR Business Partners and hiring managers where necessary.
Serve as the primary contact for new hire inductions and orientation and manage all aspects of the early onboarding process, including the accurate completion of all new hire paperwork, as well as pre-employment verification and relevant background checks.
Selection Criteria Experience in providing advanced administration support A quick learner able to interpret, apply and direct stakeholders to a range of HR resources and documents, such as policies and procedures Excellent stakeholder management experience across all levels of the organisation, up to the General Manager Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service to diverse stakeholders, internal customers and the People Culture team Strong ability to maintain discretion and confidence and deal with highly sensitive information Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing various HR documents and letters How to apply?
