3-6 month opportunity - Immediate Start - Convenient Rivervale location Join an established organisation and step into a key Payroll Supervisor role Gain valuable experience managing complex Australian payroll Appoint Recruitment is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a temporary Payroll Supervisor to take ownership of Australian payroll operations across a complex and evolving environment.
This is a 3-6 month opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to step into a key operational role, overseeing payroll delivery, compliance, systems, data integrity and the relationship with a third-party payroll provider.
The Opportunity As Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll delivery across weekly, monthly, adjustment and international assignee payroll cycles.
You will: Own the operational delivery and quality of Australian payroll, working closely with the outsourced payroll provider.
Oversee complex payroll activities including final pays, redundancies, back payments, allowances, deductions, salary sacrifice and novated leases.
Partner with HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, SAP and integration teams on payroll-related matters.
Oversee Australian payroll compliance, including PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, portable long service leave, awards, enterprise agreements and termination payments.
Provide payroll reporting, labour cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting support.
About You We're looking for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys taking ownership and working in a complex environment.
You will ideally bring: Strong experience overseeing Australian payroll operations, including weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
Experience managing or working closely with an outsourced payroll provider.
Exposure to payroll transition, system implementation, parallel runs, a Experience working across payroll, HRIS, time and attendance and finance systems.
Strong SAP experience highly desirable.
