About the Role: You will provide assistance and support to the Community Mental Health Team in delivering allied health services to consumers under the supervision of Allied Health Professionals.
You will assist with patient care, specialised clinical screenings, therapy interventions, group programs, patient education and therapy-related administrative tasks.
You may also support the supervision and training of other Allied Health Assistants and AHA students, while contributing to safe, person-centred care.
****** AHA3 Role Description About You: Hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification.
Ability to work under general direction and direct or remote supervision from Allied Health Professionals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
Adaptable, organised and able to problem-solve using relevant policies, guidelines and procedures.
Experience in a service environment, with an understanding of patient confidentiality, ethical practice and the AHA role.
