Duration: 3 months Arrangement: Full time (hybrid) Location: Brisbane About You You are an experienced employment lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your Experience and Expertise: Extensive experience in employment and workplace relations law, preferably within the public sector Strong understanding of public sector employment frameworks, including the Public Sector Act Significant experience managing and advising on disciplinary processes and employment-related decision making Expertise in handling employee grievances, complaints and workplace dispute resolution matters Demonstrated experience advising on misconduct, integrity and corruption-related issues Strong background in performance management and employee conduct matters Experience interpreting and advising on industrial instruments, awards, enterprise agreements and employment conditions In-depth knowledge of public sector employment legislation and associated regulatory requirements Proven experience conducting and advising on workplace investigations Expertise in discrimination, equal opportunity, anti-bullying, human rights and workplace behaviour matters Experience advising on privacy, information management and confidentiality issues arising in employment contexts Ability to provide strategic and practical legal advice to senior executives and key decision-makers Experience managing a large and complex caseload while maintaining high standards of client service Excellent drafting skills, particularly in relation to disciplinary correspondence,
