Job Description Location: Various Sites, South Australia (DIDO FIFO options available) Pay: $***** PH + OT + Allowances + Superannuation Roster/Hours: 12-hour days / 6-7 Days a Week Duration: Ranges from short-term (weeks) up to 6 months, depending on project Start: Immediate starts available The Role We're on the lookout for experienced Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters to join shutdown crews across mining and quarry sites throughout South Australia.
Both DIDO and FIFO positions are available, with a range of contract lengths to suit different availability — from short shutdown stints through to longer 6-month placements.
What You'll Be Doing Shutdown maintenance, repairs, and installations across mining/quarry plant and equipment Fabrication, welding, and structural work (Boilermakers) Mechanical fault-finding, overhauls, and equipment servicing (Fitters)



Working at heights and in confined spaces as required Working to strict site safety and production timelines What You'll Need Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter Working at Heights ticket (within 2 years) Confined Space ticket (within 2 years) Proof of Australian work rights Own PPE and basic hand tools (mandatory) Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on a DIDO or FIFO roster Prior mining/quarry shutdown experience highly regarded What's On Offer $*****PH + OT + Super Plus $2 Site allowance + $95 Per day LAFHA DIDO and FIFO options available Immediate starts Variety of contract lengths – short stints to long-term placements Steady stream of shutdown work across SA sites Apply now with your current resume and relevant tickets — immediate starts, don't miss out.
