Time Attendance Administrator | Temp to Perm Chance Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
MAYDAY Recruitment is proud to partner with a respected organisation within the funeral services sector to recruit a Time Attendance Administrator based in Rhodes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an administrator with exposure to HR, payroll, workforce planning, rostering or employee data management who enjoys structured, detail-focused work and takes pride in accuracy.
Working within a busy People Services team, you'll be responsible for processing employee changes, maintaining workforce data and supporting the accurate flow of information between HR, Payroll and operational systems.
This is a highly transactional role where attention to detail, process adherence and data accuracy are critical to ensuring employees are paid correctly.
For the right person, there is genuine potential for the role to become permanent and expand into broader workforce and people support responsibilities over time.
Details 3-month temporary assignment with potential to become permanent $***** per hour + Super Location: Rhodes Initially office-based during training Current working arrangement of 4 days in office / 1 day WFH Preferred hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm Immediate start available The Role As a Time Attendance Administrator, you'll support the business by managing a high volume of employee data changes and workforce administration requests before they reach Payroll.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing employee and workforce changes within the Time Attendance system Managing HR and payroll-related change requests Updating employee records, employment details and roster information Maintaining roster templates and workforce data Processing manual system updates where integrations cannot automate changes Working through a high volume of tickets and transactional requests Supporting leaders with roster queries and workforce administration matters Assigning and managing requests across the wider team Ensuring employee data remains accurate and compliant across multiple systems Providing ongoing administrative support to the People Services function This role involves significant volumes of manual data processing and transactional administration, making accuracy and attention to detail essential.
About You We're looking for someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work and understands the importance of maintaining accurate employee records.
You'll bring: Experience in HR Administration, Payroll Administration, Rostering, Workforce Administration,
People Operations or another high-volume administrative environment Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy skills Confidence working across multiple systems and databases The ability to follow processes and instructions consistently Strong organisational and prioritisation skills Experience managing large volumes of information and requests The ability to work independently and stay focused on repetitive tasks A strong sense of accountability and ownership A willingness to learn and develop within a supportive team environment Exposure to Time Attendance systems, payroll processes or workforce management platforms will be highly regarded but is not essential.
Important to Know This is a highly transactional administration role.
