About UrbanGrad UrbanGrad is more than a graduate program.
It's the beginning of a long-term career at Urban Utilities.
Our newly designed 12-month graduate program combines meaningful work, rotational experiences, dedicated mentoring and structured development, with an assured ongoing permanent role upon successful completion .
From day one, you'll contribute to projects that make a genuine impact on our customers, communities and environment while developing the skills, confidence and networks to build a rewarding career in the water industry.
Engineering Disciplines We welcome graduates with the following degrees and backgrounds: Process Engineering Chemical Engineering What you will be doing as an UrbanGrad As a Process/Chemical Engineering UrbanGrad, you'll gain exposure to a variety of engineering environments across the business, including wastewater treatment, water supply networks, infrastructure delivery and specialist engineering teams.
Through rotational experiences, you'll work alongside engineers, operators and project teams to understand how essential water and wastewater services are delivered, maintained and improved across Southeast Queensland.
You'll contribute to projects that support operational performance, environmental sustainability and public health, while building capability in process optimisation, asset management and infrastructure investment.




From treatment plants and supply networks to strategic projects and specialist engineering functions, you'll develop a broad understanding of the critical role engineering plays in delivering essential services to our customers and communities.

This will increase from July 1st ****, per the Enterprise Agreement.

Eligibility To be eligible, you must: Have completed, or be completing, a relevant degree within 24 months of the program commencement date of January **** Be an Australian or Current Zealand Citizen or have unrestricted working rights.
