Junior Bookkeeper Milsons Point, Sydney Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation Hybrid working after probation; up to 2 days working from home per week.
During probation, the role is fully office-based.

The Role We are looking for a Junior Bookkeeper with at least 3 years of relevant experience, solid end-to-end Accounts Payable experience, and solid hands-on experience using Xero.
Working closely with the Finance Manager in a team of 2, you will be responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Payable function while gaining broader exposure across bookkeeping and finance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a solid foundation in bookkeeping and AP and is looking to grow their skill set and take the next step in their career.
Experience with payroll, BAS, GST and other areas of accounting is beneficial but not essential, as training can be provided to the right person.
Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable, from invoice processing through to payment Enter,



code and process invoices accurately in Xero Liaise with suppliers and resolve invoice and payment queries Prepare and assist with regular payment runs Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations Reconcile supplier accounts and follow up outstanding items Assist with credit card and general ledger reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities Assist with month-end processes and reporting Work closely with offshore team members and review work for accuracy Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc bookkeeping and accounting tasks Gain exposure to payroll, BAS, GST, PAYG and other accounting functions, with training provided Contribute to process improvements and support the Finance Manager with ad hoc projects About You Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable or a similar finance role Strong end-to-end Accounts Payable experience Proven hands-on experience using Xero Good understanding of reconciliations and general bookkeeping principles Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Excellent communication and organisational skills Comfortable working independently while being part of a collaborative team Proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn, develop and grow Payroll and BAS experience is advantageous but can be taught Why Join?
