Department for Infrastructure and Transport Job reference: ****** Location: **** - ADELAIDE Job status: Short Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.
The Social Media team, part of the Media Directorate, publishes engaging and timely content across the Department's social media accounts to promote DIT projects, programs and services to the public, our customers, partners and other stakeholders.
The Social Media Officer is a key member of this team who plans, creates and publishes content in a variety of formats tailored to different social media platforms, to inform, educate and connect with our target audiences.
The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience developing content, delivering social media strategies and using social media management and analytics tools.
They will communicate with clarity and credibility whilst working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications / Licences Relevant tertiary level qualifications in communications or a related filed or equivalent industry experience is desirable.
Special Conditions A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
A Working with Children Check (WWCC)
is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
Some out of hours and weekend work may be required.
Tenure of Vacancy Temporary appointment up to twelve (12) months.
Remuneration ASO4 - $82,212 to $86,180 pa + superannuation.
